Silver Jewellery Workshop

Come and join the artist and creator Marianne Donohoe for this delightful Silver Jewellery Taster Workshop.  This workshop aims to allow everyone the chance to make their own unique piece of Fine Silver jewellery and does not require any previous skills.

This is a three hour beginners course and you will be taught and produce at least two finished pieces using various techniques.  During your class you will learn what silver clay is, how to handle, texture, cut and shape it, how to store your clay and rehydrate it, how to refine your pieces and fire them and finally how to polish your finished silver pieces.

All materials will be supplied to produce at least 2 pieces of fine silver jewellery, depending on the size you make, including silver clay and a jump ring. If you require extra clay or ear wires, jump rings or chains, you can buy them on the day. You are welcome to bring your own and fit them to your pieces to complete them.
