Indian Block Printing Workshop
Discover the ancient art of Indian block printing and create your own beautiful designs using a wide range of hand carved blocks. Marea Brown will show you how to print either a table runner or a set of napkins or any three other items of your choice (tea towels, tote bags, cushion covers, aprons, scarves) which you can take home on the day.
You will have a demonstration and then practise on old fabric until you are ready to create your own designs. Please wear old clothes or bring an apron. There will be printing blocks and blank textiles available to buy at the end for anyone who is interested in pursuing this craft at home.
All materials are included and Marea Brown will provide guidance to bring your ideas to life.
Entry into Bowood House & Gardens is included and you are welcome to wander either before or after your session during our opening hours on the day.
