Cooper Foil Glass Workshop
NEW FOR 2025! This Cooper Foil Glass workshop (sometimes called 'Tiffany' technique) is bought to you by Iain Gutteridge on this one day course. During the day you will learn all the skills; from cutting glass accurately, to adding the copper foil and finally soldering. You will have a choice of templates for either a small panel or a couple of hanging ‘light-catchers’ to take home with you. All tools and materials are provided.
You will also learn some of the history of copper foiling and get inspiration from makers in this beautiful craft.

Cost: £148.00 per person Eary Bird until 1st March, £155.00 per person after this date. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Workshops take place within the Gardeners' Bothy at Bowood House & Gardens
Season Ticket Holders should purchase their tickets from the Members Ticket Area.
Price Includes: Free entry to Bowood House & Gardens, Tutoring by Iain Gutteridge (Blue Kite Glass), light sandwich lunch, tea and coffee. Key Notes: Closed shoes must be worn, wear old clothes you do not mind getting messy and/or wear an apron. Due to the use of lead solder, the course is not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
