Woodland Garden Guided Tours
An exclusive guided tour of the spectacular Woodland Garden.
Walk amidst the bluebells in April, the magnificent Magnolias and amazing Azaleas in early May, and roam amongst the rhododendrons throughout May.
As you are led through the 30-acre Woodland Garden by an expert tour guide, each step opens a new vista of breathtaking beauty, from the initial detail of the individual flower to the grand sweep of colours formed by hundreds of shrubs.
Following the tour, visitors can continue with self-guided access of the Woodland Garden.
Tour dates:
- Friday 25th April
- Friday 9th May
- Monday 19th May
Timings:
10:15 – Arrive at Woodland Garden admissions hut, where you will be met by your tour guide.
10:30 – Tour commences
11:30 – Light Refreshments can be purchased from Nosh Box
Max. 25 places per tour
After your tour, you can purchase light refreshments using a 10% discount card which is provided on the day for you to redeem at the Nosh Box.
Please note: The tour requires around 60 minutes of walking. The paths around the Woodland Garden can be uneven, and steep in places, therefore those with mobility issues may find the terrain difficult.

Directions: Bowood Woodland Garden are a separate attraction to Bowood House & Gardens and have a separate entrance off the A342, Devizes Road, between the villages of Derry Hill and Sandy Lane. If using Sat Nav please use the postcode SN11 9PG.
