Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland presented by Chapterhouse Theatre Company
We are delighted to introduce Chapterhouse Theatre Company, who will be bringing Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland an Open-Air Theatre production to Bowood House & Gardens.

Take a trip down the rabbit hole this summer with Chapterhouse Theatre Company. When young Alice tumbles into a fantastical world of talking caterpillars, mad hatters, and evil queens with only the white rabbit to guide her, she must rely on her wits and her sense of adventure if she is to save Wonderland and return home. Filled to the brim with magic, music, and not-so-organised chaos, Chapterhouse Theatre Company’s sparkling adaptation is perfect for all the family!
Pack your picnic, bring your chairs or blanket, and don't forget to dress for the weather (themed costumes welcome).
Show starts at 18:30 including a 15 minute interval and should finish at 20:15.
Gates open from 17:45. Please do not arrive before this as the team will still be preparing the performance area. Please arrive no later than 15 minutes before the performance is due to start.
Please note tickets to this event must be purchased in advance, are non-refundable and non-transferable, they do not include access into Bowood House & Gardens during the day. You can purchase a Day Ticket to Bowood House & Gardens online or on the day at admissions. If you have purchased a separate Day Ticket into Bowood House & Gardens, you will need to leave and re-enter at the designated ‘gates open’ time.

- Adult (17+): £20.00 per person
- Child 5-16/NUS Student: £14.00 per person
- Family of 4: £60.00 (2 Adults plus 2 children or 1 Adult plus 3 children)
- Registered Carers, accompanying person with disability are FREE
- Under 5's are FREE
- Group of 10+ get a 10% discount (tickets must be booked with one purchase)
Season Ticket Holders 2025: Please order your discounted tickets from the Members Ticket Area, link is sent to the registered email which bought your Season Ticket.
*Please note there is a booking fee charged by our ticketing system per ticket. The discount off a Group of 10+ is applicable to the number of tickets purchased for Adult and Child only. This does not include any free tickets selected (e.g. Under 5’s or Carers). This discount is applied automatically.
Please note: Only assistance dogs are permitted at the House & Gardens. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult in the grounds. Bowood House & Gardens will continue to operate as a cash free site. Complimentary car parking within Bowood House & Gardens car park.
