We hope you feel inspired to make the gardens, house and parkland your learning space for the day. You can join a morning session, an afternoon session, or both.
Our opening hours are 10.30 to 17.30. You’re welcome to arrive before your booked session, but please make sure to meet us in the correct location at the time of your session. Full details will be included in your confirmation email.

Theme for the day: Art
Morning session (Walled Garden) 11.00 – 12.30
Join us in the Walled Garden for a relaxed session inspired by the 2026 botanical art exhibition in the Garden Studio. Using the exhibition and the abundance of flowers as inspiration, you’ll have the space to create your own botanical art in a beautiful and unhurried outdoor setting. Some drawing materials will be provided but feel free to bring your own sketchbooks, pencils or pastels and perhaps a picnic blanket or cushion to sit on.
Afternoon session (Bowood House and Capability Brown landscape) 13.30 – 15.00
Join us for a creative afternoon inspired by the landscape paintings in Bowood House’s historic gallery. After spending time with the artworks, we’ll head out into the Terrace Garden and ‘Capability’ Brown parkland to take in the views and create our own landscape pictures inspired by Bowood. We’ll work outdoors where possible. Some drawing materials will be provided but feel free to bring your own sketchbooks pencils or pastels and perhaps a picnic blanket or cushion to sit on.
