Bowood House & Gardens Ticket Portal

Summer Adventures: Archery

New for 2026 we are delighted to give children the opportunity to learn how to use a bow and arrow and aim for the target (not each other!).  This activity requires you to purchase a Day Ticket per person on the day of the activity or have a valid Season Ticket.

Aim on the Plain will teach children how to handle a bow and arrow and test their skills to hit the targets.  Supported by instructors each child can fire up to 12 arrows and see how close they can get to the bullseye.

Each session lasts approximately 30 minutes throughout the day and children will be fully briefed on the day by trained instructors.  Parents should ensure they understand the risks of a physical activity and can watch (or take part) with their children.

Price:  £5.00 per child or adult

Available for 6 years and upwards.

A day ticket must be purchased in addition to an activity ticket.  Season Ticket Holders should purchase their discounted tickets from the Members Ticket Area.
