Summer Adventures: Wall Climbing
New for 2026 we are delighted to give children the opportunity to test their skills and get climbing to scale the heights on this portable wall. This activity requires you to purchase a Day Ticket per person on the day of the activity or have a valid Season Ticket.
Wiltshire Outdoor Learning Team (WOLT) helps children to learn and develop new skills whilst growing in confidence within a safe environment. This experience provides the perfect opportunity for beginners and climbing enthusiasts to get outdoors.
Each session lasts approximately 30 minutes throughout the day and children will be fully briefed on the day by trained instructors. Parents should ensure they understand the risks of a physical activity and can watch (or take part) with their children.
Price: £5.00 per child or adult
Available for 6 years and upwards.
A day ticket must be purchased in addition to an activity ticket. Season Ticket Holders should purchase their discounted tickets from the Members Ticket Area.

11:00 – 16:00 (30 mins sessions)
General Notes:
- 6 year olds and upwards.
- Parents may climb with their child / children. They will also need to purchase a ticket to take part but weight is limited to 125kg.
- Each session will last approximately 30mins but note that the child /children may tire easily subject to their fitness levels and the number of climbs is dependent on their ability and skill.
- Only four children will be climbing at any one time for safety reasons.
- Instructors will brief and assist children with climbing harnesses.
- Your contact information will be shared with WOLT in advance as a waiver form is required to take part in the activity. A digital link will be shared for completion in your order confirmation.
- Children should wear clothing appropriate to the weather conditions on the day and close-toed shoes will assist with climbing and grip. Neatly trimmed nails will help with hands gripping and long hair can be tied back to keep clear of climbing ropes. Baggy clothing may also hinder climbing.
- Advance booking is required as places are limited.
- Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable and activities will go ahead unless inclement weather and wind affect the safety of the activity.
