Great British Summer Saving Scheme - Bowood House & Gardens is delighted to support the Great British Summer Savings scheme and will pass the full VAT savings (reduced from 20% to 5% VAT) on to all relevant day tickets between 25 June - 1 September. These tickets are now available and reflect the changed rate of VAT, so bookings on these dates will automatically include the saving. Visitors who have already booked on these dates will receive an automatic refund for the VAT saving, so there is no need to contact us directly. Tickets outside of these dates (prior to 25 June and after 1 September) remain available to book at any time.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Infants under 2 are free and you do not need to purchase a ticket for them.
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult in the grounds at all times.
CREATE AN ACCOUNT ONLINE: When purchasing your Day Ticket online, please create an account, this will allow you to amend your date within the 2026 Season, 24 hours prior to your arrival date.
Included in your Day Ticket: Access to Bowood House, the Grounds, Adventure Playground and The Den, access to the Walled Garden open to the public between12:00 -16:30.
After - school (15:30 - 17:30) day ticket discount, term time only. 50% off full price day tickets. Only available to be purchased on the day at admissions. (Excludes Bundle opition 1, 2 and 3)
Disability and their registered Carer day tickets are discounted at 50% off our standard Adult, Senior, Young Adult, Junior and Child day ticket prices and can be purchased online. Please show the relevant paperwork at admissions along with your day ticket confirmation email. Please show either a 1. Disability Living Allowance or Attendance Allowance letter. 2. Personal Independence Payment Letter. 3. Access Card 4. Letter from GP or consultant confirming the need for a full time carer. This does not need to be a letter of diagnosis. Blue badges are not an accepted form of documentation. ’Without the relevant paperwork admissions are unable to allow access to Bowood House & Gardens on this ticket.
BBC Gardeners' World 2for1 offer: Available only for dates between 1st May - 30th June 2026. You will need to show your Gardeners' World Magazine 2for1 card on arrival, along with your confirmation email if booked online.
Please note day tickets are non refundable, however you can amend the date within the 2026 season, 24 hours prior to your arrival date. This can be done online when logged into your account. If you do not already have an account with us, please set this up when purchasing your day tickets. If you have booked the summer saver this must be a date within the scheme and the same for BBC Gardeners World 2for1 offer.
Only assistance dogs are permitted inside the Grounds of Bowood House & Gardens. Where possible if the dog could please wear their recognisable harness or jacket.
